i'm sure in the fine print of the mommy contract i signed there is an illness clause. I'm positive I saw it somewhere. Because ***I*** do not have time to be sick. I got hit by a flu bug Tuesday and yesterday was spent in complete oblivion. I slept about 22 of the 24 hrs available to me. I guess that means I needed it because I feel marginally better today and am not a pool of whiny human like I was yesterday. Thankfully Matt was able to work from home yesterday as I don't know what I would have done if I had to be responsible for my 3 chiclets.
But...in better news...it is warm enough to open windows!! Release germs into the outside world!! Smell the fresh air instead of blah inside air!! Look at the buds peeking up!! It's totally spring!! Do you hear me Mother Nature??????? IT. IS. SPRING. This means no more snow, cold weather, ice, etc. Got it? GOT IT???

i whine. a lot. sometimes too much, but it is, what it is. i type like i speak so it isn't always grammatically correct. the former english major in me twitches sometimes over it, but re-typing it correctly just doesn't always float my boat. also? my punctuation? it's never correct. i use too many commas. i freely admit it. it is, what it is.
i have 3 chiclets who (whom?? i swear i was an english major... it was a long time ago ) i love dearly, but I make fun of them on a regular basis. i'm a mama, it's my right to do so. i also have a wonderful husband who i am lucky to have. i also make fun of him on a regular basis. i love him, but he's a man and as such, is easy to poke fun at. it is, what it is.
if i say something to offend, click that little x in the upper right hand corner. that's what it's there for. i try not offend, but because i am who i am, i will be offensive from time to time. it is, what it is.
enjoy the ride that is my life. it's often boring, but i try to spice it up with funny stuff on youtube from time to time so that it isn't all bitching and moaning. but sometimes bitching and moaning is therapeutic. for the one doing the bitching and moaning. for the rest of you? well... embrace what about your life is not bitch-worthy right at that moment. if there isn't anything- create a blog. that's what i did.
